Chardonnay Barrel Apricot Sour
This sparling beauty pours a pale yellow with a fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. The nose is stone fruit and floral, backed up with oak and hints of white wine. The mouth feel is light and crisp. Flavours of apricots and other stone fruits on the palate; backed up with soft rounded floral notes from the wine that used to live in these barrels. The finish is pulled together with light to medium Brett picked up from the barrel, and then enhanced by the extended bottle ageing and conditioning. This beer is truly glorious.
